The way to make money online

If you're serious about making money online then you know by now it's not easy. There are many well-tested methods available, all of which require the same basic steps. In short, those steps are:

Find keywords to write about

Find a web hosting service

Buy a relevant domain name

Write content and set up monetization

Promote your site with backlinks

These steps are pretty much universal - it's the How To that varies from guru to guru. Over on my website I've started a series of posts detailing the five steps the way I see them. Head on ever and see if it inspires you to find out if you too can make money online.

I've learned everything I know by following the step-by-step tutorials available at The Keyword Academy, a great place to learn the basics. While you'll find the information at Can You Make Easy Money Online useful, I won't be revealing any of the Academy's secrets. So if you want a shortcut, sign up at The Keyword Academy (the first month's only a dollar) and get it straight from the horses mouth. Otherwise you can check out my site, which won't cost you a penny.

In brief, I'll show you how to use Google's keywords tool to research your keywords, how to find webhosting and set up a blog using the free Wordpress package, how to write content and how to promote your site. Everything you could possibly want, in other words. Come and learn how to make easy money!

You can get started researching keywords right now using the Google keyword tool. Click on the link and you'll see a box to enter the keywords you want information about (start by thinking about the skills you already have, so you might want to enter 'bricklaying' or 'personal finance' or something like that), then ill out the Captcha and press 'Find my keywords'. You'll then be presented with a list of suggested keywords and several columns of information. Use the 'hide/show columns' dropdown to hide everything except 'Global monthly search volume', then show 'Average CPC'. CPC stands for Cost Per Click - it's an indication of what companies pay Google for each click on their ad. As a publisher you get a percentage of this if someone clicks an ad on your page. This all tells you how potentially profitable a given keyword could be. There are many factors at play here, though, so you'll need some help to complete the analysis. One source of help is the Keyword Academy's secret formula for assessing profit potential. I can't tell you that, I'm afraid (well I could, but they'd have to kill me) so you'll need to sign up to find out.

So, what are you waiting for? Find out how to set up your own website and get on with it! The sooner you start, the sooner the dollars will start coming in. Good luck!
